VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers are a key component to the success of our Festival. Here are just some of the ways our volunteers help out while Festival musicians are in town…

Musician Hospitality

  • Homestay hosts provide accommodation and light breakfast for a visiting musician.

  • Dinner hosts provide and host dinner for chamber musicians.

  • After-party hosts organize post-concert gatherings.

  • Rehearsal hosts set up rooms ready for rehearsals; this may include making coffee, setting out snacks, and being available to answer questions.

Transportation

  • Local  – drive musicians to/from rehearsals and concerts.

  • PDX – drive musicians to/from Portland airport.

Food Service

  • Lunches – provide and prepare food, assist with setup/cleanup.

  • Dinners – provide and prepare food, assist with setup/cleanup.

Events

  • Stage management – assist with setting/resetting the stage before, during, and after performances.

  • House management – assist with setting/resetting house before and after performances (for example, set out/pack away chairs).

  • On-site ticket and merchandise sales.

  • Patron check-in.

  • Ushering.

  • Food service, bartending.

  • Parking coordination.
